NParks Ride Info
Cycling has never been more fun now, with NParks offering alternative areas and more recreational cycling routes in parks and nature sites throughout Singapore.
Whether you are in a group or going solo, the Park Connector Network (PCN) offers a variety of recreational or exploratory opportunities. Currently, over 100 km of park connectors have been developed all around Singapore, with another 200 km to be built by 2015.
Embark on an adventure and ride on some of the more popular routes, for example the Eastern Coastal PCN. By end this year, you can also try our second loop of park connectors in western Singapore – the upcoming Western Adventure PCN. For die-hard foodies, you can also particpate in foodhunt trails, as the entire network is peppered with many popular eateries. Such trails will not only spice up your recreational experience, but will also provide your body a good workout!
For those who need the convenience of bicycles, why not hire a bicycle at any of our PCN Pitstops found along the ECPCN? You can pick up your bicycles at one pitstop and return at another without the need to backtrack.
Regional parks throughout Singapore are also equipped with cycling-friendly tracks. Cyclists can visit, for example, the popular East Coast and Pasir Ris Parks in the east; Jurong Central and West Coast Parks in the west; and Admiralty and Sembawang Parks in the north.
You may want to consider participating in monthly organised rides by our PCN partner, Terra Outdoors to explore and appreciate some of the PCNs and regional parks. This also opens up new opportunities to widen your social network.
For the adventurous at heart who seek that adrenaline rush, you can get that thrill just by trying out one of our mountain bike trails. There are four in Singapore, namely Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Kent Ridge Bike Trail (downhill), Ketam Bike Trail (Pulau Ubin) and Tampines Bike Trail.
With so much to offer, get ready to head down to one of these exciting places with your two-wheelers and enjoy your cycling experience!
